Rainfall is logged daily on-site and follows the region's two-monsoon rhythm: pre-monsoon showers peak in April–May, dip through June–July in the Western Ghats' rain shadow, then rise again from August through October as the retreating southwest monsoon blends into the northeast monsoon — dry the rest of the year.
